Fibromyalgia (FM) pain is generally treated with pharmacological therapies. Although non-pharmacological therapies like cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness meditation provide an additional option in FM pain management, lack of evidence of their effectiveness questions their utility. Fibromyalgia (FM) pain is second most prevalent rheumatic pain condition in the world. It has a global prevalence of 0.2 - 6.6% in general population and 2.4 - 6.8% in women.
