I recently went to bail out a patient as hospital was refusing to release a patient as bill was 90000 for two days for MICU treatment. My question is for a medical case (leptospirosis complicated by multiorgan failure can total charges be this high)  scenario 1 : if he was ventilated for respiratory failure  scenario 2 : if he didn't have ventilator support  Hospital is in a medium sized city and midsize hospital. The patient was shifted to medical college later.
