I have seen cases of infertility. Especially, when the male has intractable infertility, I think it is imperative to discuss with the person alone. It is not essential to discuss with the wife. If the person agrees to share the information the couple can be counselled.

Sometime, his in-laws come the next day and demand an explanations. I do not think any information need be shared unless the patient agrees. What needs be done if a lawyer presents himself and questions on behalf of the court?
