50 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Tamil Nadu on Tuesday, 31 March, out of which 45 had attended a religious gathering at Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi. 72 more persons have tested positive for COVID-19 in Maharashtra on Tuesday, taking the total number of cases in the state to 302. The death toll due to COVID-19 in the country increased to 32, while the number of cases rose to 1,251, the Health Ministry said on Monday.
