Case presentation A 44-year-old woman was admitted to the emergency department with intense genital pain after falling down the stairs in her house and having a contusion in the vulvar region. She was treated with pregabalin and mirtazapine for generalized anxiety disorder. She referred to the gynecological emergencies on a trolley as she could not walk.
She showed no improvement after intramuscular administration of anti-inflammatory drugs.
