The one of Delhi Medical Council (DMC) Registrar doctor has underlined that allopathy practitioners should not prescribe Ayurveda drugs. The Council has cited Section 30 of the Delhi Bharatiya Chikitsa Parishad Act, 1998, and said ‘crosspathy’ is punishable under the law. The notification came as it was found that many allopathic doctors even specialist and super specialist write many Ayurveda medicines in their prescriptions probably as medical representative of different Ayush companies meet them and push for writing their products.
