A clash between Doctors at V S Hospital, one of the biggest Govt. Hospital in Ahmedabad and relatives of a patient led to strike by the residents of the Hospital. The patient was brought to the Hospital with the 108 free ambulance service but was not attended immediately- complained the relatives of the patient. This led to anger among the relatives and resulted in rage and fights in the Hospital premises. Following this incident, relatives demanded that atleast one person should be allowed to stay with the patient all the time.
The injured Resident Dr. Dinesh Tiwari confirmed strike and exclaimed, "Our strike is supported by L.G. Hospital, Sharda ben Hospital, and Hospitals of Rajkot and Jamnagar”.
