A doctor from Patna has not received his salary for 18 months and has written a letter to the CM demanding the same. He was working on contract basis in a primary health care center and he his post has been regularized since last May but after that, he has not received his salary. He has mentioned in his letter that he has been following it up with the medical officer-in-charge of the primary health care center through the formal letter as well as through telephonic conversation since a long time.
But as he did not receive any response, he decided to write to the CM. Do you think at least this will help? When will doctors stop facing such situations?
