One of my known patient aged 32 years been asked by her gyanecologist to undergo serum AMH level estimation in her work up for infertility, she has PCOS on rx, HSG is normal, FSH, LH and testosterone TSH levels are normal. Husband's semen analysis is normal, but AMH value is 1.06 only. She has already had 3 failed sessions of ovulation induction followed by laparoscopic ovarian drilling and 1 failed session of IUI after that.
Is it that IVF is the only option now? Do AMH level predict success rate in IVF?
