With context of increased insurance patients, and CPA cases it has become important to keep detailed records of each patient. I am currently taking photos of every file of admit patient with the help of digital camera. But it requires to search the documents manually when they are needed. but till today it worked well for me. Another option is to scan all docs but it require help of a computer literate assistant which is not possible at a rural place where I work. The above method can be delegated to any person.

EMR is becoming more desirable now a days. It also eliminate the question of bad handwriting. Also it becomes easy to archive and search patient records.
