IMA being the only organization representing doctors in India ( of all medical specialties and general medical practitioners) having less than 25% of Doctors as members, does it need a Membership Drive urgently to become stronger and represent all of us. What are the causesof this Low membership 1.High membership fees? 2.Apathy on part of Doctors and IMA executives? 3.not a true representative of us? 4.We don't want to unite? 5.Some political factors? 6.Pressure from quacks?
7.We are shy to put forward our just Demands? 8.Idiopathic 9.We are too lazy? 10. We are Inactive? IMA should go for a massive membership drive in next 6 weeks so that after 6 weeks if government betrays us we can fight with 4 times our present strength.
