India is a growing and the fifth largest economy in the world. The Prime Minister lays tremendous emphasis on making products in India. However, the health policy of the nation is designed by non-medical professionals and industrialists. The nation does not have a clear National Health Policy and whatever we have is drafted by a few good souls with forethought and hindsight but lacks ground reality so much. So, it does not convert to the advantage of the common man. There is no state-aided insurance and the only insurance is the LIC which itself is a corporation.

Aadhar should be linked to health insurance and for social security than for tax reforms. The vast majority of patients nearly 805 are treated in government hospitals and only 20 percent is managed by corporate hospitals.
