NITI Aayog selected 5 aspirational districts viz. Baran, Jaisalmer, Sirohi, Dholpur and Karauli from Rajasthan which will witness special immunization drive for under-2 years of age children.

It will start in mid-July and would help in attaining 90% immunisation target by December end. NHM mission director mentioned that 'lack of awareness' is one of the major reasons children do not get vaccinated.
