Driving in midnight---- My new job as Director Medical of SUPREME Superspeciallity Hospital in Faridabad, which is starting next month, is very demanding. Having spent more than 35 years in Neurosurgery, and attended/ operated many patients in the night time, I only asked one thing from the owner that I should be picked up from my house and also dropped. When a surgeon has to go to operate in the night, which many neurosurgeons have to do, there is always fear that while driving at odd hours, the surgeon may meet an accident and die on road. If you operate for 4 hours, you feel sleepy and it is unsafe to drive.

Many doctors have had accidents that way. Whereas, beurocrats have to go at 9 am and finishes at 6 pm and have government cars picking them and dropping them. This is injustice with doctors. What is your opinion?
