To meet the increasing healthcare needs of the Emiratis, the Dubai Health Authority is all set to launch four new primary healthcare centres by the beginning of 2019. These centres will offer free emergency services not only to the nationals but to all the residents. Patient accessibility and population density will be taken into account while setting up these centres in different locations in Dubai. Primary healthcare centres serve as the first frontier for healthcare, before patients visit the hospital.
These four new primary healthcare centres will be opened in four new locations: Al Ghusais, Umm Suqeim, Abu Hail and Al Habab . With these additions, the total number of healthcare centres will add up to 18 .
