Dysfunctional tear syndrome (DTS) is a complex condition affecting the ocular surface. The health and normal functioning of the ocular surface depends on stable and sufficient tear film. New diagnostic techniques and treatment options are available for patients presenting with DTS. This article focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of patients with DTS.
