A reported intraoperative electrosurgical accident during a cesarean section at a private nursing home in Sundargarh, Odisha, has led to police and administrative inquiries after a postpartum patient allegedly sustained significant burn injuries. According to the complaint filed with Sundargarh Town police, the 30-year-old patient underwent a C-section in April after initially visiting the woman and child wing of the district headquarters hospital in Sundargarh.
