Recently one of my patients who was a known Diabetic ,hypertensive, CAHD and minimal renal parameter elevation with on and of UTI with stable condition on monthly check up within a week, suddenly gone in for breathlessness. He was taken to a hospital in his home town namely Tiruchendur- a taluk headquarters with lot of private hospitals by 9 AM and a resident Doctor saw and he did Echo and Ultrasound as per his statement while talking to me by phone and diagnosed Acute pulmonary oedema with renal enlargement.
He was given first aid and the doctor was not willing to keep the patient in the hospital since an MD is not available inspite of it belongs to a MD Physician with, I hope having ICU facilities.The patient was shifted by an ambulance to Tirunelveli around 50 kms distance.When the patient has been taken to a hospital with ICU facilities with MD Physician availability, once again…
