It is a matter of profound grief that Padma Shri Prof. Ashok Panagariya has left us for his infinite journey on June 11, 2021. He was admitted to Eternal Hospital (Jaipur) after recovering from COVID 19 and was on ventilator support for the last few days. This is a great loss to the medical fraternity and the end of an era in the Rajasthan Medical World. Prof. Ashok Panagariya was a world-renowned neurologist.
I first met Prof. Ashok Panagariya Sir in 1988 when I was a medical student and visited him to consult with one of my relatives who had developed a stroke.
