A 26-year-old woman, 36 weeks gestation, in her fourth pregnancy presented in the emergency department with the chief complaints of generalized weakness, fever, decreased appetite, headache, and abdominal discomfort. She also reported decreased movements of a baby than normal for the last few days, with approximately 8-10 movements per day. She has not noticed any vaginal bleeding but her discharge increased than normal with a foul smell. Medical history : One miscarriage, 2 term vaginal deliveries.

She has experienced an episode of vaginal bleeding at 31 weeks and at 35 weeks respectively. No liquor was detected at the speculum examination at that time and she was discharged.
