It is often said ‘Things work out best for those who make the best of how things work out’ and indeed as Dr. Gagandeep Kang became the first Indian Woman to be welcomed as Fellow of Royal Society, the above saying is proved once again. Dr. Kang has now joined the league of esteemed scientific minds including Sir Isaac Newton (1672), Charles Darwin (1839), Michael Faraday (1824), Albert Einstein (1921), Francis Crick (1959) and many more to be inducted to the 360-year-old scientific body.
