A lady came to me with her 10 yr old daughter, her complain was her concern for her daughter's height... She herself was very short n was about 4 ft 8 inch tall.. She complained that her daughter is shorter than other girls of her age... She is afraid that she will also be like her as her husband is also of 5 ft tall only... I assured them it is not any disease it is just a genetic condition being short.. She was asking then how can she make her dughter tall? Her daughter is 3 ft 9 inch tall..
How should I proceed this condition? Is there any growth hormone injection available in market? What is the ideal time to give this injection then? Any kknown practical side effect? The lady also mentioned that in her teen age she tried all sort of advertised drug n height therapy but nothing worked.. Her parents are also of her height only...
