One of my friend's daughter, 3 yr old, developed pain abdomen and vomiting after travelling to some new place. 3 days of vomiting was followed by 4th day of greenish diarrhoea (3 episodes), very small quantity.However the child had no fever. Local paediatrician prescribed Zoxakind - O (Nitazoxanide and oflox). 5 days of antibiotoc is over.
But the child still has gastric regurgitation, followed by wheeze, and complains of nausea. I have prescribed prokinetic. But how long the child has to continue prokinetic? Can GERD be caused by some gastro enteritis in children?
