Syncope accounts for 1-2% of all emergency department visits, with about 50% of these patients requiring hospitalization. The overall prognosis of syncope depends on the underlying etiology, and the major etiological factors include vasovagal reflex, cardiac syncope, and orthostatic hypotension. Therefore, sound knowledge of syncope, its etiology, and treatment is required for optimum management of patients. In this regard, Docplexus has organized an interactive session where Dr.
Ajay Naik and Dr. Hiren Kevadiya will share their insights on “Guidelines on Syncope for Therapy Selection” on 13 th May 2021, 6 PM onwards. Stay tuned for the session!
