16 year old male patient is suffering from ITP since last three months. (lowest platelet count was 5000) hematologist treated him with Prednisolone and Azithioprine for one month, then relatives decided to take a second opinion and new hematologist started him on Dapsone and Cyclosporine.
(Now platelet count is180000- 200000) Recently patient had redish urine without any complaint of abdominal pain. Upon performing a USG abdo we found Borderline splenomegaly (13.2cm) and minimal free fluid in pelvis, there was no splenomegaly in USG done three months ago,What could be the reason behind this splenomegaly and free fluid ?
