There has been a debate on the introduction of e-pharmacy during the COVID-19 pandemic. The health ministry has now permitted licensees to deliver medicines at home. Amidst the controversy on introducing e-pharmacies and the purchase of medications online, the union health ministry has permitted all Indian licensees to deliver medicines at home since March this year.
