She reached 6cm dilation for 3 hours despite adequate uterine contractions. The medical and surgical histories are unremarkable. Examination Body temperature was 102°F Heart Rate: 80 bpm Blood pressure (BP): 120/70 mmHg Respiratory rate: 12 breaths /min There were no abnormalities of the breasts, lungs, costovertebral region, or skin incision.
