A diabetic female came to India because of having got a non-healing sinus from her operated Rt hip at London 3 years back. Her Diabetes was not controlled for last 3+ years to less than 250 anytime and her THR post OP continued discharging Sinus. She has advised REVISION HIP Surgery but she chose to come to India for the same. The Ortho Doctor advised tight DM control and when seen by me, pus c/s was sent and antibiotics were given as per report and DM medicines were adjusted and for the first time in over 3 years she had hypoglycemia and the Diabetes medicines had to be reduced!!
