COVID and the surgical patient during these COVID-19 times - there has been a rising apprehension and phobia for surgical procedures, and hospitalization of a surgical patient. This has resulted in piling up and backlogging of Non-COVID patients for their treatment and Surgeries. The rise in fear of COVID pandemic in the society has forced all of us to stay at home and somehow manage various diseases by taking some over the counter medication or trying home remedies for our problems. This has led to a delay in proper diagnosis and treatment.
