A middle-aged man was put under vitamin supplement therapy on the advice of a private nutritionist containing over 20 over-the-counter supplements (Table 1). He had a rather complex history of spinal tuberculosis, an inner ear tumor, a build-up of fluid in the brain, bacterial meningitis, and chronic sinusitis.
