A ventral hernia is defined as a non-hiatal and non-inguinal defect in the fascia of the abdominal wall. Annually, there are about 350,000 ventral hernia operations worldwide. Surgery is usually recommended for individuals with higher risk factors and an acceptable score for overcoming post-operative risks. For a better understanding of ventral hernia, its treatment, and management, Docplexus , in collaboration with the Hernia Society of India (HSI), has organized an exclusive panel discussion on 27th June 2020, 6:00 pm onwards. In this session, a panel of experts will be sharing their insights on Ventral Hernia.β¦
