In place of Atropine/ Glycopyrrolate, Hyoscine (Buscopan) can be used as premedication in general anesthesia and in short GA procedures. In Spinal Anaesthesia, it can be used in place of Atropine, for bradycardia. Advantages : Very good Amnesia. Anxiolytic. Anticholinergic. Sedative.
