Thyroid autoimmunity is associated with several risk factors in pregnancy, such as miscarriage and preterm birth. Several studies have reported that euthyroid women with thyroid peroxidase autoantibodies (TPO Ab) possess significant risk of developing autoimmunity and other complications.
