An 11-year-old girl was presented to the pediatric rheumatology outpatient clinic with complaints of swelling in her left foot and ankle for four weeks. She did not have any previous health problems. Besides, she did not have any constitutional symptoms such as night sweats, weight loss, lassitude, fever, and fatigue. Medical history The patient had swelling in the same joint, which lasted for two days. The swelling had regressed approximately five months ago with antibiotic treatment.
Physical examination Pain and swelling in the left foot and ankle were observed. Also, a limited range of motion of intertarsal and tibiotalar joints was noted. Other examinations were normal. Hepatosplenomegaly and lymphadenomegaly were not detected.
