A 67-year-old man with advanced alcoholic cirrhosis was presented with progressive dyspnea. Chest radiography (Panel A) was suggestive of right pleural effusion. As hepatic hydrothorax was suspected, thoracentesis was performed and 1500 ml transudative fluid was aspirated.
