A 53-year-old female came to our emergency department with breathlessness and ongoing cough. She was tachycardic (100 beats/min) and oxygen levels were 96% with a bp of 138/69 mm Hg. Her symptoms and tachycardia resolved spontaneously after two hours. There were fine bi-basal crepitations observed with ECG, exhibiting sinus rhythm with T wave inversion in lease I, AvL and V2 with a normal cardiac axis and corrected QT interval as seen in the ecg.
She had experienced significant dyspnoea and hemoptysis following a night at an open-water swimming event 2 weeks before and was feeling breathless for some days afterwards. I have advised CT pulmonary angiography. Please suggest how I can manage the patient?
