Cervical cancer though a decreased inclination trend is observed in India according to the population-based registries, but remains to be a foremost problem public health- wise for women in India.1 Human papillomavirus (HPV) 16 and 18 types, are the main etiological factors of cervical cancer and main cause of death among women worldwide.2 While, men should not be ignored as they are also at a greater risk and also increase their companions' risk of infection and reinfection through physical contact. The genital cancers and anogenital warts are caused by HPV–6 and HPV-11.3,7 There are globally two sorts of HPV vaccines, a quadrivalent (4vHPV), bivalent vaccine (2vHPV) since 2008 and recently a nonavalent (9vHPV) vaccine for HPV types 16, 18, 6, 11, 31, 33, 45, 52, 58 was licensed in 2018 in India.
