Nowadays, almost all patients are coming with one or the other health insurance schemes to hospital. But different schemes have different rates for particular surgery. For example LSCS under RSBY Scheme is just 6,500/-, and under Yeshaswini scheme is 14,000/-. Look at the disparity. Lap Appendectomy under RSBY is 9,500/- and under Yeshaswni scheme is 14,000/-.
Moreover, there is a too much delay in payments. But too many rules and regulations for the scheme. Under such circumstances, whether the surgical practice is getting disturbed, altered or going for substandard methods is the matter of discussion. Then are there any solutions need to be addressed.
