Highlights Rocuronium administration after propofol injection reduces rocuronium-induced withdrawal movement (RIWM). The two consecutive delayed pain stimuli were effective in reducing the pain perception. They can be used to minimize injury during anesthesia induction due to gastric substance reflux, pulmonary aspiration, and venous catheter dislodgment resulting from withdrawal movement.
