A doctor is always vigilant and never off-duty, even on vacation. An Indian doctor who was recently flying from Delhi to Guwahati experienced this when a medical emergency arose on the flight that he was traveling in. Recently, Dr. Jego Ori, the honorary secretary of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Arunachal branch, came to the rescue of his co-passenger who was suffering from breathlessness. He was returning from a Dubai-Abu Dhabi tour. The crew members announced regarding a mid-air medical emergency regarding a cyanosed boy. The child was a cardiac patient since birth, as informed by his mother.
