A 40-year-old male (alcoholic) developed the fever with diarrhoea 15 days before taking some t/t, fever subsided but diarrhoea continued, developed severe watery diarrhoea with blood in stools 1-day before. H/o fall of all teeth due to assault 8 years back with SMF & angular stomatitis b/l present. My question is whether Inj B1(100mg) combination (eg.Inj Neuorobion) should be given before starting Inj DNS/RL to prevent any neurological complications?
RBS facility is not available now in this village. Will it be ok if we give Inj NS without giving Inj B1?
