Garlic a food spice commonly used in Indian kitchens is known for causing bleeding as such or interacting with low dose Aspirin and Warfarin. Thrombocytopenia and bleeding are features of Dengue fever whose incidence is also on the rise and it is rational to avoid all medications with bleeding potential. Then, why not advice to avoid the use of garlic in patient with dengue fever.
