Dear Esteemed Doctors, Please advice me regarding my father's condition. My father has lost his weight drastically within few months with no signs/symptoms of any infection present. He is a 57 year old male with history of chronic bronchitis and asthma for past 20 years.Family history of eosinophilia and asthma present. He was a chronic smoker but has quit the habit years ago.
He has been taking Salbutamol inhalers initially and now using Seretide (fluticasone propionate and salmeterol) once daily in the morning. He is a healthy male otherwise with no loss of appetite. His blood profile is within normal (haematology and bld glucose fasting, plasma) range. Kindly Advice
