Hi, This is in reference to the new UCPMP guidelines which has been implemented. I am invited to chair sessions in many national conferences, but the organising committee sometimes doesnt provide the travel and stay. Is it ethical in such a situation when I am attending a national conference in the capacity as a chair or resource person to accept financial assistance for airtravel and accomodation from pharma companies. If I am not accepting financial assistance , naturally I will have to generate this extra amount from my professional practice by increasing consultation charges.
