Recently we are all hearing the incidents of violence on the hospital staff and doctors. Every ones suggestions are to install the CCTV cameras in the important areas of the hospital. Can you suggest any guidelines in this regard?
Is it ethical or legally right to install cameras in the Outpatient examination rooms, operation theater, labor rooms, wards or Minor OT? If CCTV cameras are not permitted in these areas how to prove our innocence in case of allegations of negligence or misbehavior by the patients.
