Hello everyone! My patient aged 49 years, weight 80 kg is a patient of transverse myelitis, segment invoved C3-D12, since 2010. Paraplegia with bowel and bladder were affected. She was given steroids and physiotherapy given, controlled but she is still bed ridden.
A top neurologist has given me a suggestion for Stem cell Transplantation. I want to know your opinions on Stem cell Therapy, that should I go for it or not? If yes, then which organ is best for this case, Bone marrow, umbilical cord, adipose tissue or any other? Also any good centre that you can suggest?
