I want to ask our seniors that should a senior doctor charge the consultation fee to his or her junior doctor. I am asking about only consultation fee nothing else. First time I met a specialist outside the government set up. A few days back, I met an endocrinologist in Greater Kailash, New Delhi for myself. I did not go there thinking that he would not charge me but due to time constraints and because it was near to my stay.
I have worked in Safdarjung Hospital and AIIMS New Delhi. I have helped lots of people including my friends, relatives, even those people whom I don't know. But I never thought that my senior doctor will charge me the consultation fee.
