Neurological conditions can have devastating effects on an individual and his/her caretakers. One such condition is cerebral palsy. Cerebral palsy (CP) has been described as a group of disorders of the development of movement and posture.

It occurs in 4 out of 1000 live births globally and 15-20% cases in India .[1] The condition is attributed to nonprogressive disturbances that occur in the developing fetal or infant brain. The motor disorders of cerebral palsy are often accompanied by disturbances of sensation, cognition, communication, perception, and/or behavior and/or a seizure disorder.
