A 20 yrs old male was presented with history of fever high grade and breathlessness for 8 days. CBC shows bicytopenia, Hb 8 and TC 3100 after Liver function test, electrolytes and renal function test normal. USG showing hepatomegaly, splenomegaly and ascites mild. Chest X-Ray showing bilateral moderate pleural effusion Spo2 90 with oxygen.
Ldh normal uric acid normal Peripheral smear showing microcytic and hypochromic RBCs, tear drop cells and target cells No response to antibiotics No history of travelling. I am planning for positive antinuclear antibody profile (ANA) test and bone marrow aspirate examination. Kindly give ur advice.
