Case presentation A 47-year-old man was brought to the emergency department with a pustular rash on both hands for the past three days. He was undergoing treatment for pharyngitis with penicillin V potassium tablets one week before the presentation. Physical examination showed several pustules on the palms of both hands and the soles of both feet ( Refer to the cover image) 1. Laboratory findings Throat swab analysis showed group A ฮฒ-hemolytic streptococcus.
Absolute neutrophil count: 14,900/mm 3 C- Reactive Protein level: 30 mg/lit. Renal function was normal Histopathology and biopsy of the lesions showed mononuclear infiltrates in the dermis and subcorneal pustule 1.
